Delco Gives Staff Spotlight
5.5.2026
We recently connected with Liam an ANEWAY and Game on State employee. He shared what he’s learned and some of his favorite things about being a staff member.
“Thanks for talking with me today. Can you describe what your job is here (Game On State)?”
“We make containers, or we sort the candies in different colors (Sweet on State). There's a theme to it like a sport or a college. Game on State is for (people with) disabilities…it’s an opportunity for us to work here.”
“What's your favorite thing that you do here?”
“I like being here (Game on State) because I work here as a customer service. And sometimes on the cashier.”
“Do you have a favorite memory of working here or a customer you interacted with?”
“My favorite memory is meeting new people. And I like having someone upfront with me so that way it won't be just me, it will be one other person to help.”
“What's one thing that Game on State or ANEWAY has done to help you feel included?”
“I like it here, because it has arcades, candy, and I help with the candy (Sweet on State). And I like being with my fellow… workers being here because they never worked..before, and now they have experience working.”
“What's one thing that you think people can do to be more supportive of people with disabilities?”
“I would say like you get a pass (to Game on State)…and learn about how we came to this program.”
“Do you have a favorite arcade game?”
“I like the skee ball.”
When asked if he had a favorite ski ball game, Liam said the Arctic Skee Ball.
“What's your favorite candy?”
“Oh, my favorite candy is...Reese’s. You can't go wrong (with) Reese's. It's too good.”
